In the Top Ten rankings of the UK’s most effective TV ads of 2023, there is only one that was created using Gen AI.

It was for Hotel Chocolat. This was the first campaign to harness Gen AI throughout the entire workflow of a new brand world creation in the UK. LLMs (Large Language Models) were trained on a whole mix of diverse brand visuals, from bespoke photography to their real-world ethical Cacao farm – the Rabot Estate – on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia, through to product range imagery and video, and more. The resulting campaign assets sit in the top 0.3% of effective tv ads globally (System 1 research). That’s why we can honestly claim to have delivered the most effective use of Gen AI in the UK.
