Over the last year we noticed a huge increase in search for nature videos that help viewers relax. However, not one penny of ad revenue was going back to the environments they featured. This accidental exploitation presented an opportunity. Introducing ‘Preservation Play’: a YouTube channel featuring relaxing nature content from around the world, where the ad revenues go straight to NGOs who help protect the very same environments featured. A small proportion is used to further promote the content, generating more views, and more ad revenue, which ultimately means more money to protect our oceans, jungles and woodlands.
